To support our growth and as part of a new position creation, we are currently looking for a Technical Sales Representative for the Wallonia region (Belgium), on a permanent contract.

 

Your mission :

 

  • Deploy the commercial strategy in your future region in coordination with national colleagues
  • Be the guarantor of Rovensa Next’s image as well as the development of its revenue and margin
  • Ensure follow-up, advice, and support for the sales forces of our distributor clients
  • Implement promotional and development actions for the product range within our distribution network
  • Be able to analyze market expectations and adapt your offer according to needs
  • Contribute within your region to building a sales & marketing plan for strategic clients
  • Prospect, retain, and develop new clients
  • Define your annual sales forecasts for your sector and update them in the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning)
  • Contribute to the monitoring of agronomic services and trials, and participate in defining technical positioning and experiments
  • Lead technical meetings with your clients and gradually develop contacts with local and regional technical prescribers
  • Ensure competitive intelligence in your region
  • Represent the company at regional or national trade shows and participate in local and regional events to stay informed and promote the company

The talent we are looking for:

  • Degree in Agronomy/Agriculture/Agrobusiness (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) – Agricultural Engineer or Agronomy with a focus on Crop Production or Crop Protection
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position with a supplier or distributor
  • Excellent knowledge of the agricultural sector, agribusiness, and agricultural distribution
  • Strong product expertise in biosolutions: bionutrition, biocontrol, and adjuvants
  • Intermediate to advanced English level (B2) or fluent (C1) to operate in an international context
  • Dutch language skills would be an asset (oral comprehension and speaking)
  • Curious, dynamic, and rigorous, with a commercial mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a taste for challenges
  • Adaptability, relational flexibility, listening skills, and the ability to argue and convince will ensure success in this role
  • Good command of communication and facilitation techniques
  • Initiative-taking, proactive, autonomous, and well-organized
