Ascenza is the crop Protection branch, a benchmark independent player in the off-patented South-European, Brazilian and Mexican markets, with a leading position in Iberia.
Mission:
To lead and develop the team of Technical Sales Representatives to ensure the correct execution of the commercial strategy in the assigned territories, achieving profitable growth, strengthening the distribution system, and maintaining ASCENZA's market position. Their core responsibility is to transform a set of individual territories into a coordinated, professional, and predictable commercial operation, while remaining closely attuned to market realities and the team's daily work.
Responsibilities:
• Field Operational Leadership: Accompanies, guides, and develops the Regional Sales Representatives (RTVs), corrects deviations, and establishes clear priorities without doing their work for them
• Regional Sales Management: Analyzes performance by territory, reallocates efforts, and focuses the team on crops, products, and accounts with the greatest potential
• Distribution System Management: Evaluates and strengthens strategic distributors, supports complex closures, and manages inventory turnover and repurchase rates
• Portfolio and Positioning Mastery: Defines what to promote, where, and when, aligning the team's sales message
• Planning and Control: Transforms objectives into work routines, conducts regular follow-up, and makes decisions based on sales, inventory, and market data
• Developing the RTV Team: Sets goals, provides field support, and builds sales and technical skills
• Verify technical and commercial activities are aligned with the strategy and make timely adjustments
• Define key areas, distributors, and farmers, and focus the team's efforts
• Support relevant negotiations and resolve complex situations without replacing the Technical Sales Representative
• Directly serve third parties and underserved areas to generate sales and transferable learning for the team
The talent we are looking for:
• Agronomic or commercial background (preferred but not required)
• Experience leading agricultural sales teams or regional accounts
• Ability to analyze commercial and financial indicators
• Ability to train, present, and lead sales meetings
• Availability to travel frequently within assigned territories
