The North America Director of Marketing is accountable for setting and executing the marketing and business development strategy across the United States and Canada. Operating at a Director level, this role translates enterprise and regional business objectives into integrated, market‑specific marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, strengthen brand equity, and deepen customer engagement across North America.

This position provides strategic leadership to the regional marketing organization, owns marketing investment decisions and budget accountability, and acts as a senior strategic partner to Sales and North America leadership. The role requires strong commercial acumen, advanced marketing capability, cross‑border coordination, and the ability to lead in a complex, competitive North American market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Marketing Execution

  • Lead and actively participate in all marketing and business development activities for Rovensa Next across North America.
  • Develop and implement integrated North America marketing strategies aligned with organizational and enterprise goals.
  • Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics across U.S. and Canadian markets to identify growth opportunities.
  • Translate regional and global strategy into actionable, market‑relevant marketing initiatives.

Campaign, Digital & Content Leadership

  • Plan, execute, and oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, social, and field marketing channels.
  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, email marketing, marketing automation, and social media advertising.
  • Lead the development and management of marketing content including websites, digital assets, brochures, advertising, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging, positioning, and brand standards across North America.

Brand & Commercial Enablement

  • Own and steward brand positioning across North America, ensuring credibility, differentiation, and consistency.
  • Own life cycle management of the North America portfolio, including launch strategy, growth acceleration, line extensions, rationalization, and end-of-life planning to maximize commercial input, margin performance, and resource efficiency.
  • Partner closely with North America Sales leadership to enable demand generation, promotional strategies, and sales effectiveness.
  • Partner with regional, global, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure portfolio decisions are data-driven, market-relevant, and operationally executed across the US and Canada.
  • Support product launches, market entries, and go‑to‑market strategies across the U.S. and Canada.

Financial & Performance Accountability

  • Develop and manage the North America marketing budget with accountability for investment effectiveness and ROI.
  • Establish KPIs, track campaign and program performance, and optimize strategies based on data and insights.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the North America marketing team, including U.S.‑based resources and Canadian coordination.
  • Set priorities, clarify expectations, and drive accountability across the function.
  • Build organizational capability through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.

Relationship & Event Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders across North America.
  • Lead planning and execution of regional trade shows, product launches, customer events, and promotional activities.

Professional, Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities

  • Accept and complete assigned projects in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and governance standards.
  • Coordinate work schedules, vacation, and absences with leadership.
  • Complete required documentation such as expense reports and vacation requests accurately and on time.
  • Work a minimum of 40 hours per week unless otherwise agreed.
  • Use company‑provided equipment for business purposes and ensure return upon request or employment termination.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8–10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including regional or national scope.
  • Demonstrated experience leading marketing strategy across the U.S. and/or Canada.
  • Proven track record of partnering with Sales and cross‑functional teams to drive revenue growth.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and external agencies/vendors.
  • Agriculture, life sciences, specialty chemicals, or related industry experience strongly preferred.
