Quality Control Coordinator

OGT is the company in Rovensa with preferential access to the Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed and with an exclusive extraction method, Gentle Extraction, that preserves the biostimulating compounds that are naturally present in fresh seaweed.
Your Mission
We are looking for a proffesional for our Quality (control and assurance) and R&D department at OGT. Someone with a positive attitude, safety attitude and willingness to contribute to the maintenance of our high standards of quality of our products complying with organic and GMP+FSA standards.
This person will be responsible for the coordination, supervision and delivery of the quality control, quality assurance and R&D projects in collaboration with multiple departments and employees from production to management within the factory and across Rovensa group.
Key tasks and Activities

Coordinate the day to day operations of the team, including: planification, task allocation & follow up, goal settings, reporting and presentations

Creation and maintenance of SOPs and the Control and Analysis plan to ensure tha the products meets the required standards

Manage certifications, legislations, HACCP, controls, claims and non-conformities

Deal with authorities (DAFM, certification bodies) and offering support to customers (certificate of analysis, attestations, technical suport, etc.)

Focus on improving the product by organizing and conducting trials and tests

Developing and assessing KPIs to improve performance in quality and production

Carry out initial inductions of new employees
The talent we search for:

Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Quality of Manufacturing Science

At least 2-4 years of proffesional experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Data Analysis softwares (SAP or Minitab is an advantage)

Domain of English language (spoken and written). Other languages such as Spanish will be valued as well

Intelectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly, think creatively and critically

Excelent interpersonal and communication skills with a relationship driven approach to develop close working relationships with key stakeholders across all organizational levels.
