As part of a maternity leave replacement, we are looking for an Accountant Specialist on a 5-month fixed-term contract (FTC).

Your responsibilities:

General Accounting

• Maintain the full general ledger, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and bank accounts.
• Record supplier, customer, and banking transactions.
• Post prepaid expenses, accrued income, and other month-end closing entries (e.g., prepaid expenses).
• Prepare VAT returns and Intrastat / intra-community trade declarations.

Treasury Management and Forecasting

• Manage incoming and outgoing payments, including customer follow-up.
• Reconcile bank balances with accounting records and monitor cash flow.

Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Closings & Reporting

• Prepare monthly financial statements, including accruals, provisions, inventory adjustments, and other closing entries.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions across the Group’s different entities.

The talent we are looking for:

• You hold a Bachelor's degree (2–3 years of higher education) in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and have at least 3 to 4 years of professional experience in a similar position, either in a company or within an accounting firm.
• You have a solid command of SAP ERP and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, common formulas).
• An upper-intermediate (B2) to advanced/fluent (C1) level of English is required for this position (spoken, written, and reading comprehension).
• Previous experience in an international and multicultural environment would be an asset.
• Accuracy, organization, adaptability, customer focus, and teamwork will be key strengths to succeed in this role.
