Mission:

To guarantee the purchase of raw materials, finished products, subsidiary raw materials, and packaging for the Rovensa Group companies, carrying out and monitoring procurement based on the needs/requirements of the different products and streamlining the necessary means to meet them.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute purchases of raw materials, finished products, subsidiary raw materials, and packaging for the Rovensa Group companies
  • For acquisitions of finished products/active materials from outside the European Union, be familiar with the specifics of each product and its origin, in terms of necessary documentation, customs and banking procedures 
  • Keep packaging and subsidiary raw material specifications updated
  • Monitor compliance with agreed delivery deadlines
  • Contract transport and insurance if necessary
  • Ensure customs clearance of goods from outside the EU. Request safety data sheets from suppliers when purchasing chemical products. Inform suppliers whenever special labeling requirements are met
  • Consider the established purchase requirements for the product when acquiring it
  • Comply with the legal obligations identified within the scope of the acquisition processes
  • Ensure the sending of product technical specifications and ensure compliance by sending pre-shipment samples whenever justified and their evaluation by the Quality Control Department
  • Ensure the compliance with REACH registration for chemicals not covered by Article 15 of the REACH Regulation, which exempts the substance from REACH registration, and subsidiary raw materials
  • For the acquisition of subsidiary raw materials and those from outside the EU, ensure the acquisition of the necessary documentation for the assessment of compliance with REACH registration. Whenever necessary, act as a liaison between the supplier and the DAS

The talent we are looking for:

  • 12th grade education and/or professional experience in the area
  • Knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Knowledge of Spanish and French (preferred)
