External Field Trials Specialist

Ascenza is the crop Protection branch, a benchmark independent player in the off-patented South-European, Brazilian and Mexican markets, with a leading position in Iberia.

Mission:

Support the implementation of ASCENZA’s trial programs in an international context, ensuring the execution, reporting and communication of trial results that demonstrate the value of our crop protection products to marketing and commercial teams, contributing to safe, effective and sustainable agricultural solutions. 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the planning and allocation of agricultural field trials by evaluating contractors capabilities across Europe and other key geographies.
• Manage end‑to‑end execution of outsourced efficacy trials, covering contractor selection, contracting, logistics, data follow‑up, and administrative oversight.
• Prepare data for efficacy summaries for dossiers and technical documents to support regulatory approval and market positioning.
• Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of trials and dossier contracts within internal systems.
• Oversee contractors to ensure compliance (GEP), data quality, timing to guarantee value for money
• Contract the writing Biology section of registration Dossiers, ensuring timely, high‑quality, and cost‑effective outcomes. Or contribute to the preparation of dossiers made in ASCENZA.

The talent we are looking for: 

• Degree or Master Agronomy or related to Life sciences
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in Agricultural Field Trials: planning, execution, product application, and field assessments.
• Knowledge or experience in data automation and/or Artificial Intelligence tools.
• Multilingual Communication: fluent English and Spanish.
• Valid driving licence with readiness for international travel and off-site team activities.
• Strong Agronomy & Crop Protection Knowledge, including pests, diseases, weeds, and crop production cycles.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in executing tactics.
• Willingness to accept challenges and take initiative.
• Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Automation and use of AI tools for data management and reporting.
