Your mission:

Integrated in Rovensa’s corporate Health & Safety area, this position has the responsibility to assist the corporate H&S director ensuring alignment and integration of Health & Safety vision into overall global strategy.

Will be accountable for safety performance improvement of Rovensa through the strengthening of Safety Culture.

Working in a corporate environment with international collaboration and a passion to drive change, will define guidelines, procedures and processes fostering a zero-harm culture and encouraging commitment from leaders and workers.


Key tasks and Activities:

  • Support our Business Units in achieving a Zero-Harm culture goal by working with site managers, managers and local H&S teams across the several countries where we are present (Europe and South and Central America), to continue elevating our Safety culture;
  • Participate in the development and roll-out of Rovensa Safety Management System. Identifying, recommend, and ensure implementation of improvements or changes to guidelines, Procedures and Practices;
  • Attend and aids in the incident investigation process for serious injuries and incidents, focusing on solving problems and improving the business process;
  • Provide expert guidance/knowledge on Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis, Process Safety Management, Contractor Safety Management and Ergonomics;
  • Share best practices and alerts for Driving Safety, Safe Operations on Industrial Sites, Office Safety and Health Promotion;
  • Update and manage our H&S program to not only track and report indicators, but develop effective lessons learned and action items to address these;
  • Conducts routine safety observations and audits H&S related activities and operations to ensure consistent execution of guidelines and procedures;
  • Develops and conducts or help facilitate safety training to managers and local H&S teams;
  • Participates in or lead safety committee meetings;
  • Supports Rovensa health and safety management software;
  • Ensure the effectiveness of projects in the field and generate metrics reports;
  • Design and conceive communication programs to maintain and improve H&S awareness;
  • Ensure follow-up to external consulting companies.


The talent we search for:

  • Degree in Engineering, Safety and Environment or similar;
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the Health & Safety area, in corporate environment developing safety culture programs and safety management systems (ISO 45001);
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish. French language will be valued as well;
  • Willingness to travel and interest in participating in international projects;
  • Safety profile with:
