Mission:

  • Participate in the ongoing accounting recognition and closing process in a timely manner, as well as in complying with tax obligations associated with the Rovensa Group. Ensure compliance with the checklist and the first level of financial review, including contributing to the production of the Rovensa Group's annual report and financial statements. Support in monitoring the accounting certification process.


Responsabilities:

  • Ensure individual responsibility for accounting entries, reconciliations, account reviews, and transaction validation for each of the companies under your responsibility;
  • Ensure individual responsibility for each of the tax and regulatory obligations of each of the companies under your responsibility;
  • Ensure compliance with the checklist for the matters under your responsibility;
  • Ensure the individual alignment process of the companies under your responsibility with the Group's consolidation model;
  • Support the monitoring of the accounting certification work of Group companies outside Portugal for each of the companies under your responsibility;
  • Ensure individual responsibility regarding specializations, verification of customer aging, verification of doubtful accounts, low-turnover inventory, and legal proceedings and related contingencies;
  • Support the performance of impairment tests on intangible assets or financial holdings;
  • Support the preparation of the Rovensa Group's annual report and accounts, including initial verification and review;
  • Ensure monthly reporting of intercompany balances and transactions for each of the companies under your responsibility, including their reconciliation with other Rovensa Group entities.
  • Ensure delivery of the quarterly reporting package with all financial information for each of the companies under your responsibility, for the purposes of preparing the Rovensa Group's consolidated accounts.
  • Support the audit and consulting processes for the companies under your responsibility;
  • Ensure the issuance of annual financial statements for the companies under your responsibility;
  • Ensure the transmission of processes and know-how under your primary responsibility to at least one member of your team.

 

The talent we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Management, or related field;
  • Professional experience in accounting (execution and supervision) in a comparable company, preferably as a consultant or auditor (minimum 2 years);
  • Proficient in English and Spanish (plus);
  • Proficiency in SNC and IFRS regulations;
  • Knowledge of international taxation;
  • Certified Public Accountant (nice to have);
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP (a differentiator in a multinational environment and industrial sector).
