Product Safety Project Management Specialist

Ascenza is the crop Protection branch, a benchmark independent player in the off-patented South-European, Brazilian and Mexican markets, with a leading position in Iberia.

 

 

Mission:

  • Lead project teams working with dossiers from identifying data gaps up to achieving registration, as a key member of the project team with the final goal of delivering quality work within the expected timeframe and budget.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the dossiers from data gap analysis to registration, including pre-submission meetings with competent authorities.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define project scope and working timelines; monitor project progress to ensure adherence to these timelines.
  • Comply with deadlines, budget requirements and quality standards, while managing evolving priorities.
  • Contribute to product reviews, regulatory documents, study final reports, and other necessary documents.
  • Develop dossier management strategies.
  • Provide support as needed to product safety product development in relation to new projects.
  • Manage Ascenza technical team or external consultants.
  • Maintain a consistent habit of reviewing and improving processes.
  • Provide regulatory advice to the project team.
  • Participate in internal meetings with other departments (e.g. Regulatory, R&D, Central Marketing….) and external meetings (e.g. task forces, competent authorities meeting, consultants…).
  • Work with risk assessment within the context of EU 1107/2009 regulation.

 

The talent we are looking for:

  • More than 5 years experience in one of the Crop Protection evaluation areas (fate, Phy-Chem, ecotox, etc) and/or 1 year of project management experience;
  • Master´s degree in agronomy, chemistry, biology, environmental, toxicology or related science;
  • Experience working with Regulation 1107/2009 (mandatory)
  • Good knowledge of English, any other language is an asset. 
  • Background in project management of crop protection dossiers (nice to have)
