Mission:

 

The Toxicology Specialist undertake responsibility to evaluate the active substance and Plant Protection Product regulatory risks, to contract the studies; to make risk assessment, the dossier writing. Follow the toxicological assessment from the beginning of the project up to registration. Ensure awareness of the latest developments in the areas of risk assessment. Develop expertise in new regulatory developments and propose strategies according to registration goals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with ASCENZA teams and respond to specific questions on toxicology
  • Undertake evaluation and summarisation of toxicology data, risk assessments, study monitoring, dossier writing, following up the project up to product registration.
  • Ensure awareness of the latest developments in all areas of toxicology and risk assessment
  • Define actions and identify and utilize resources to achieve project tasks or objectives; ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget and that goals are aligned to desired project results
  • Develop expertise in new EU regulatory developments according to the requirements

 

The talent we are looking for:

  • PhD in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or closely related discipline; or M.S. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biology, Agronomy or closely related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience;
  • Broad scientific knowledge in Toxicology and toxicology studies;
  • Experience writing toxicology dossiers and overviews for registration submissions;
  • Fluency in English (oral and written);
  • Good communication skills and team spirit;
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems;
  • High level of accountability and collaboration.
