Your Mission: 

 

We are looking for a junior Global Product Technical Support Specialist Agronomist to join the Global Technical Support & Knowledge Management (GTS&KM) Department. You will report to the Global Technical Manager or a Global Technical Support Coordinator in a 

supportive environment: Training on all aspects of GTS&KM work and responsibilities, including product portfolio, will be provided to help you grow and succeed, building on the previous agronomic, product and industry experience of the selected candidates.

 

Your Responsibilities: 

 

  • Technical Support: Provide guidance and support to customers, sales teams, and distributors on our products.
  • Training: Assist in conducting training sessions for internal Regional teams and external clients on product characteristics and use
  • Knowledge Management: Help document, and manage, product information in our Knowledge Management system.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with Global Marketing to create clear and concise product information.
  • Timely Responses: Address technical and agronomic inquiries promptly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various global departments to support product lifecycle implementation.
  • Facility Visits: Assist in organising and accompanying client visits to our facilities.

Education:

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences or Biological Sciences

 

Work Experience:

 

  • 1+ years in a full-time position related to agricultural production or the agricultural supply chain (e.g. sales, agronomy, or product management roles).
  • Demonstrable experience in areas such as crop management, field agronomy, plant physiology, soil sciences, nutrient planning, pest control, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Direct hands-on field experience in using, or recommending agricultural products for crop management.
  • Experience in crop protection is a bonus.

 

Travel and Language Skills

 

  • Occasional national and international travel and nights away.
  • Possession of a Car Driver’s license required.
  • Competency in English, with proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish or another language a bonus.
