Your Mission:

The Director of Global PMO & Investment is accountable for the end‑to‑end governance, prioritization and performance of the Product, R&D and Regulatory portfolio, ensuring that innovation ambition translates into disciplined, value‑creating execution.

This role combines portfolio ownership, financial accountability (Capex & Opex) and PMO leadership, acting as the single point of integration between strategy, investment decisions and execution governance.

Operating at a global level, the role supports executive decision‑making by providing clear trade‑offs, portfolio transparency and fact‑based insights, while respecting technical and regulatory authority within the respective functions.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Innovation, R&D, Regulatory Portfolio Ownership: Maintain an integrated Product Innovation, R&D, and Regulatory portfolio aligned with strategic objectives, market needs, and sustainability goals, ensuring clear segmentation and delivery of measurable business value.
  • Portfolio Governance & Executive Decision Foruns: Design and lead robust portfolio governance and executive decision forums, driving prioritization, transparency, and fact-based decisions through clear trade-offs, risk management, and active oversight of dependencies.
  • PMO Leadership: Lead and align PMOs across R&D and Regulatory by establishing common standards, methodologies, and performance expectations while improving efficiency, coordination, and overall maturity.
  • Financial Leadership – Capex & Opex: Own end-to-end portfolio financial governance, including budgeting, forecasting, business case validation, and performance monitoring, ensuring optimal investment decisions and compliance with financial standards.
  • Reporting and Insights: Deliver high-quality, decision-ready reporting and strategic insights on portfolio performance, supported by robust KPIs, strong data governance, and clear translation of complex information into executive narratives.
  • Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, fostering cross-functional collaboration, accountability, and a unified portfolio mindset that balances strategic ambition with execution realism.
  • Continuous Improvement & Transformation: Drive continuous improvement and transformation of portfolio governance and PMO practices by promoting standardization, scalability, transparency, and a culture of execution excellence.
     

The Talent we are looking for:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • PMO Certification (e.g. PfMP®, MoP®, P3O® or equivalent).
  • 10+ years of experience in portfolio management, PMO, finance or  innovation. R&D or regulatory environments is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing Capex and Opex in complex or multinational environments or private equity companies.
  • Demonstrated experience in portfolio governance and executive decision forums.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Strong exposure to executive‑level reporting and senior stakeholder management.
