Your mission: 

 

You will drive the implementation of the global Biocontrol strategy, overseeing product lifecycles, optimizing the portfolio, and ensuring products meet market and regulatory requirements. This role focuses on bringing innovation to market, supporting business growth, and aligning with Rovensa Next’s vision for sustainable agriculture.

 

Your responsibilities: 

 

1. Product Management & Strategy Execution

  • Manage the full product lifecycle of Biocontrol solutions from development to post-launch optimization.
  • Translate global strategy into actionable plans, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals.
  • Work closely with R&D, Regulatory, and Regional teams to drive successful adoption and market expansion.

 

2. Portfolio Optimization & Market Intelligence

  • Analyze and optimize the Biocontrol portfolio, identifying gaps, opportunities, and areas for rationalization.
  • Support R&D and Business Intelligence in prioritizing pipeline projects based on market demand and regulatory feasibility.

 

3. Product Positioning & Trials

  • Develop and validate trial designs to support positioning, ensuring differentiation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Guide regional teams on optimal product use, aligning with sustainability and efficacy goals.

 

4. Launch Planning & Market Execution

  • Lead global product launches, coordinating branding, marketing toolkits, and internal communication.
  • Monitor post-launch performance, supporting regional teams to maximize adoption and growth.

 

5. Regulatory & Business Case Development

  • Work with the Regulatory team to define registration needs and timelines, supporting CAPEX allocation for trials.
  • Collaborate on business case development, ensuring commercial viability and go-to-market readiness.

 

6. Cross-functional Leadership & Communication

  • Lead cross-functional meetings, aligning stakeholders across R&D, Regulatory, Supply, and Regional teams.
  • Support Brand & Communication efforts, ensuring clear and compliant product messaging.

 

The Talent we are looking for: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Biological Sciences, Plant Pathology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Biocontrol or Crop Protection. Adjuvant expertise is a plus but not required.
  • Strong background in product management, market strategy, and portfolio execution.
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of regulatory processes for Biocontrol across key regions (EU, US, LATAM).
  • Fluency in English; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint & Excel).
