Your Mission:

The position, reporting to the MENA director, is responsible for the definition and implementation of the company's commercial policies. It organizes and supervises the sales network and outlines its strategic direction to maximize turnover and margins.

Thanks to the knowledge of the market and the product offer of his company, he contributes - in collaboration with the Marketing Department - to the definition of the product portfolio, positioning and pricing policies.

Your responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the General Management in order to achieve the general sales and profit objectives.
  • Plans and manages the budget and sales forecast.
  • Develops commercial policies in order to increase business opportunities.
  • Coordinates a group of Sales Representatives to achieve the agreed objectives.
  • Organizes and controls the sales network.
  • Decides the objectives of the individual sellers (in terms of turnover and product quantities) and checks the results
  • Provides adequate support to the sales network, participating directly in the negotiations of the most important, alongside or not with its direct collaborators.
  • Has the task of expanding the customer portfolio and retaining existing customers.
  • Promotes preliminary contact actions with potential customers, develops sales negotiations, formulates offers, estimates and letters of commercial agreements with the "top clients".
  • Research and propose new employees to the General Management to be included in the company staff.
  • Analyze the market and its strengths and evaluates competing products.
  • Participates actively in the definition of effective marketing policies, in the design of promotional initiatives and in the development of product strategies.
  • Processes, submits for approval, discloses and updates price lists and discount levels
  • Monitors the progress of receipts.
  • Draws up periodic reports on market trends to be shared with the General Management. These reports must be able to provide as complete an overview as possible on the activity of competitors, but also on new sales trends and proposals aimed at increasing business opportunities.
  • Is responsible for achieving the assigned objectives and addressing any deviations from them.
  • Visiting the field together with the team on the ground
  • Closing deals with Distributors, Pricing.
  • Following up the day-to-day visits, planning and results.
  • Coordinate the full strategy and operations with MENA Director.
  • Planning budget, forecast, closing deals, making proforma invoices to Myforce.
  • Products selection to distributors following and respecting the agreements
  • Reporting monthly to MENA director, and planning the upcoming work, travelling, events, sales forecasting with him and the business plan as well.

 

 

Team Management

  • Organizes and directs the work of the team, ensuring information, training, coaching and supervision.
  • Organization of the team daily agenda, visits, time management.
  • Monitors team performance, identifying skills and performance gaps and taking actions to address them, in collaboration with the Regional Director and Human Resources.
  • Determines and assigns, in agreement with the Management, the qualitative and quantitative objectives of the team
  • Defines salary review proposals for the team


The talent we are looking for:

  • Degree in Agricultural Sciences or similar
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar positions
  • Strong knowledge of the reference market
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate commercial opportunities
  • Strategic thinking, entrepreunarial spirit 
  • Strong negociation, communication and interpersonal skills
