Main Responsibilities

  • Manage customs documentation, clearance records, manifests, and foreign trade files.
  • Prepare and review documentation for foreign trade operations (review and validate customs entries, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and COVE) for import/export operations.
  • Generate the electronic customs value declaration and transmit it to the customs broker and VUCEM.
  • Coordinate operational activities with customs brokers and carriers.
  • Classify goods according to the applicable tariff classification under the TIGIE, in coordination with the Customs Broker.
  • Verify compliance with non-tariff regulations and restrictions.
  • Maintain control of digital and physical files related to operations.
  • Support audits and internal reviews.
  • Maintain open communication with colleagues, identifying and reporting any issues to management in accordance with established processes.
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with applicable legal regulations and standards in the country of operation, enforcing adherence to all processes.
  • Perform any additional tasks related to the role as required
