Deformulation Lab Technician

Mission:

To execute and support the activities developed in the Deformulation Laboratory.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform physicochemical property tests on PPPs (Product-Price Proposals)
  • Prepare working solutions
  • Update databases of co-formulants, technical samples, and formulated products
  • Prepare and apply analytical procedures for active substances in technical samples and formulated products
  • Perform tests of the industrial analytical monitoring process
  • Support the technical and analytical validation of co-formulants
  • Participate in meetings with suppliers
  • Propose and identify the need for the acquisition of goods and services
  • Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and communicate any anomalies and/or need for external intervention to the Laboratory Coordinator
  • Research new analytical and agrochemical formulation methodologies
  • Collaborate on tasks related to Deformulation/Benchmarking projects developed in the laboratory
  • Ensure the laboratory's operability as defined by the coordinator

 

The talent we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of analytical chemistry, namely chromatographic analysis techniques
  • Computer skills from a user perspective
  • Knowledge of English (spoken and written)
