Ascenza is the crop Protection branch, a benchmark independent player in the off-patented South-European, Brazilian and Mexican markets, with a leading position in Iberia.
Mission:
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in defining preventive/corrective measures and identifying opportunities for improvement in the Environmental area
- Monitor environmental control actions (atmospheric emissions, rainwater and domestic water)
- Oversee works/cleaning/contracts/projects related to the environment
- Participate in the management of rainwater basins and the rainwater treatment system
- Contribute to the development and implementation of environmental studies and projects (Environmental Impact Studies, Monitoring Reports, as well as other specific studies and projects)
- Support internal dissemination of environmental information
- Assist in identifying needs related to prevention, protection, and intervention in environmental areas and major accident prevention
- Ensure operational waste management (Ecopark inventory, completion of Waste Tracking Forms, maintenance of waste database, contact with Waste Managers, and guarantee of proper waste routing)
- Ensure Environmental Management of refrigeration equipment (updating the list of refrigeration equipment, supporting contact with service providers to ensure compliance with legal obligations regarding fluorinated gases)
- Ensure assessment of environmental aspects and impacts
- Collect necessary elements for mandatory environmental communications (Annual Environmental Report, PRTR, MIRR, Non-reusable Packaging, Fluorinated Gases, among others)
- Participate in preparing documentation for environmental inspections
- Participate in internal training related to the role
- Assist in preparing documentation for licensing processes
- Ensure identification and implementation of Best Available Techniques (BAT) in the environmental area
The talent we are looking for:
• Degree in Engineering (preferably in the environmental area)
• Professional experience in the Environmental area (preferably in Industry, minimum of 2/3 years)
• Computer skills from a user perspective
• Knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Ability to identify and interpret Legal Requirements
• Focus on continuous improvement
