Formulation Development Analyst

Ascenza is the crop Protection branch, a benchmark independent player in the off-patented South-European, Brazilian and Mexican markets, with a leading position in Iberia.

 

 

Mission:

  • Carry out the formulation of new products on a laboratory scale.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate all types of products
  • Manage the inventory of products needed for formulation
  • Visit the factory to replenish factory sample stock.
  • Set up the laboratory after formulation.
  • Manage the database of co-formulants/technicians and formulators.
  • Equipment co-manager.
  • Perform stability tests on formulated products.
  • Perform recirculation tests.
  • Prepare samples for shipment (when necessary).
  • Train new colleagues in the use of equipment.

 

The talent we are looking for:

  • Available for a fixed-term contract.
  • 12th grade in Chemistry or Professional Technical Course in Chemistry or equivalent, or laboratory experience.
  • Computer skills from a user perspective.
  • Knowledge of English.
  • Knowledge of the environment and safety
  • Knowledge of equipment operation and formulation techniques
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and related general environmental, safety, and R&D&I techniques
