Formulation Lab Specialist

Ascenza is the crop Protection branch, a benchmark independent player in the off-patented South-European, Brazilian and Mexican markets, with a leading position in Iberia.
Mission:
Development of new products on a laboratory scale and process transfer to scale-up.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new products;
- Interpret and perform formulation procedures;
- Work on projects to improve existing processes;
- Assume project management (R&D project manager);
- Monitor and supervise ongoing projects;
- Monitor technology transfer from the laboratory to the scale-up;
- Research and investigation into new formulation methodologies;
- Research and investigation into new equipment and technologies;
- Monitor stability tests;
- Monitor industrial tests;
- Contact and meet with suppliers (co-formulants, equipment, etc.);
- Prepare and submit the necessary documentation for new product registration;
- Train new team members.
The talent we are looking for:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge and laboratory experience in formulations (2 years)
- Knowledge of chemical and physical analysis techniques
- Knowledge of quality, environment, safety and IDI Certification
- Knowledge of equipment operation and formulation techniques
- Knowledge of CIPAC methods and FAO specifications
- Computer skills from a user perspective
- Knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of SAP (preferred)
