Industrial Automation Specialist

Ascenza is the crop Protection branch, a benchmark independent player in the off-patented South-European, Brazilian and Mexican markets, with a leading position in Iberia.

Mission:

Identify opportunities for improvement in automation and control and supervise the implementation of new technologies in the automation area, ensuring the correct functioning of the equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities in ​​automation and control area
• Oversee the implementation of new automation means and control methods
• Keep records of the effectiveness of these improvements
• Ensure the proper functioning of the planned maintenance process in coordination with the Maintenance
• Coordinator Identify and report energy efficiency improvement ideas
• Ensure the correct functioning of equipment in terms of safety, quality, environmental and energy
• Ensure the identification of new materials, means, technologies and equipment
• Promote necessary tests to consolidate opportunities Identify and implement innovation and improvement actions
• Verify the effectiveness of improvement actions
• Monitor factory activities on a daily basis and identify opportunities
• Ensure interconnection with other areas, with a view to continuous improvement
• Ensure that ideas are aligned with quality, environmental, safety and energy management objectives
• Report data that allows you to evaluate improvements
• Responsible for implementing innovation and improvement projects in terms of automation and instrumentation
• Actively participate in achieving the factory's objectives

The talent we are looking for:

• Degree in automation;
• Minimum 1 year experience in automation, preferably in the industrial sector;
• Consolidated knowledge in PLC, console and supervision programming;
• Ability to plan;
• Ability to analyze and implement new technologies;
• Active in continuous improvement;
• Availability to work shifts.
