Physical-Chemical Lab Analyst

Ascenza is the crop Protection branch, a benchmark independent player in the off-patented South-European, Brazilian and Mexican markets, with a leading position in Iberia.

Mission:

Integrated within our Physico-Chemical Laboratory, this position will be responsible for performing instrumental analysis techniques and physico-chemical tests in the context of conducting GLP studies, including analytical characterization, physico-chemical properties, and stability testing, in accordance with defined procedures and in compliance with the applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting physico-chemical analysis of formulated products, as described in published standards or developed internally;
• Performing solution and reagent preparation activities (volumetric and gravimetric operations);
• Recording raw data obtained during studies, in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) principles;
• Supporting the preparation of study reports through data entry and documentation;
• Reporting all events or deviations occurring during the preparation of test samples;
• Ensuring the maintenance, verification, and cleaning of laboratory equipment;
• Receiving, checking, registering, and managing laboratory products.

The talent we're looking for:

• Education at secondary level (12th grade) through a Technical Professional Course in Chemistry or a related field;
• Professional experience in similar roles;
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written;
• User-level IT skills (Excel, Word, etc.);
• Strong organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and a proactive attitude;
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
